Emma Dorantes
Emma Dorantes focuses her practice in the areas of family law, including contested custody matters, divorces and adoptions, criminal law, DUI/DWI and traffic. She earned her Bachelor's degree and juris doctorate from the University of Illinois. During her second year of law school, Emma served as an "Edward J. Coles Fellow" with the Illinois Human Rights Commission. She was awarded the College of Law "Class of 1996 Endowment for Service in the Public Interest" for her work with the Commission. Emma joined the Illinois bar in 2009. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, East Central Illinois Women Attorneys Association and the Champaign County Bar Association.
